Pure Evil wrote about this series:
'About a year ago i received an email from a copy village in China with a list of different paintings they could reproduce for me from every famous artist in history.
Because i use original 60's and 70's newspaper cuttings for each canvas, the newspaper will vary from this image..
Warhol had 3 pieces in the list, a Jackie, a Liz and an Electric Chair. It seemed the kind of thing that Warhol would have been fascinated by. His whole output had been distilled to three beautiful dark images. In a way the 'nightmare' series takes this a step further. I am making myself a kind of 'copy village' celebrating the dark side of celebrity worship.
Each one in this set will vary , the newspapers are archived from the 607's and 70's and are different for each piece.
There are 10 of these in total'

The 'Nightmare' series is a stunning set of images, is very popular due to many reasons, icons in art are always popular, the series is vast and is Pure Evil's signature work.
The images are simply stunning in the sense of not complicated bur very effective.
This particular set of ten are unique, using actual newspapers from the 60's and 70's so is multimedia and Marylyn Monroe is sought after. This original, in my opinion, is a stand out in a dynamic series by a very creative and talented artist.
