Kathrina Rupit aka KinMx is a visual artist living between Dublin, Ireland and Tulum, Mexico.
Born in the north of Mexico, Kathrina graduated from the University of Visual Arts in Nuevo Leon. 

Kathrina began painting murals in the early part of her life.

KinMx
After university, she ventured to travel outside of Mexico on her own, surviving by selling her art on the streets and eventually landing in Ireland, settling in Dublin, she has since become a prominent figure in Ireland’s street art scene.

As an artist, KinMx’s motivations are focused on environmental conservation and sustainability.

Kathrina is currently building an art and research centre in Tulum. It will focus on the exchange of sustainable practices and knowledge from indigenous and native communities to future generations of artists and makers. 

Ik Muluk
This off-grid space is designed to inspire artistic experimentation in harmony with nature while connecting creatives from diverse backgrounds and fostering cross-cultural exchanges.

​Ik Muluk started in late 2022 with a handful of artists camping and laying foundations in the jungle. Self-funded and still under construction, we've organized the first international artist exchange between Mexico and Ireland, plus art exhibitions and workshops.
