Aleksandra Skrlec is a popular and talented abstract artist.

She is a self-taught artist who grew up in Croatia and now resides in Paris.

Aleksandra writes:

My creative process follows emotion more than structure. I rarely begin with a plan. I start, and as the colors settle, the painting shows me what it wants to become. My work grows from my experiences, the places I walk through, the people I meet, the memories I carry, the dreams that stay with me..

Through my work, I explore many themes : love, abstract moods, nature  in all its forms...  always letting them rise in their own time. I never chase inspiration; I simply stay open and let it find me.

My art is the place where I meet myself fully, without filter and without limits. Always free.

'A shadowed body rests in quiet surrender, almost floating between breath and dream. A dark silhouette, wrapped in mystery, meets an eruption of roses, reds, pinks, and golden yellows spilling across the canvas like a heartbeat. Each petal carries its own whisper, dancing in a silent symphony of light. Strength meets softness. Vulnerability meets fire. This is a moment suspended in time, where inner stillness embraces wild beauty, where femininity blooms freelyand the soul finds itself somewhere between shadow and blossom.
