'Information and Action expressed in an image' by Paul Connor

'The Universe consists of two energies: knowledge or information, which is omnipresent in space and constitutes 99.9999% of the universe, and matter, which is energy manifested as action and comprises 0.0001% of the universe.
The non-material part of the universe possesses complete knowledge but cannot act, while the material part can act but lacks knowledge.

Thus, every being is knowledge in action, responsible not only for fulfilling its purpose but also for providing the non-material aspect of the universe with a medium for further knowledge-action interactions.
The non-material universe communicates with the material universe through synchronicities (meaningful coincidences), unusual animal behaviour, or vivid dreams. The role of the recipient is to interpret these messages and transform them into action.
The recipient achieves this by following the paths that unfold before them and finding creative ways to express the message through actions.

'Nature within Ten Miles of Your House' was created to give local species a platform to showcase their beauty, uniqueness, importance, and connection to all other species. This concept was inspired by meaningful coincidences and vivid dreams.

Nature has many lessons for humans, who seem to have forgotten that they are part of nature and not separate from it. Nature is not wasteful; humans, for example, are the only species that leave remnants behind when they die.
After years spent alone in nature, I have come to understand the practical connection between the non-material and material universe, realizing that all species are fulfilling their potential and are interconnected with all others.

As a photographer, my role is to capture, not create, the wonderful moments nature offers. By respecting that you are in their environment and acknowledging that every species serves a universal purpose, big or small, and if you have good intentions with concern for others, allowing nature to 'be natural' will reward you with awe-inspiring moments and unforgettable memories.
The photographs themselves are merely a diluted hard copy of a dynamic soft copy event, serving as reminders of the event and inspiring recipients to pursue their own individual and dynamic experiences.

In recent years, I've encountered numerous situations that seem too frequent to be mere coincidences, such as wanting to photograph a specific species and then having the chance to do so. These occurrences have been so frequent that they must be meaningful coincidences. Although the purpose of my journey is still unclear, I believe in the interaction between the non-material and material worlds, which makes me think that my journey is significant and relevant.
