'I live in a world and I hope to live in a world'

‘I live in a world where there is the ugly and there is the pretty’

 ‘I live in a world where know-one is quite sure if they are sad are they are happy’

'I live in a world where if the majority says it to be so, then it has to be that way,

 'I live in a world where, some think that heterosexuality is still 'normal' and it is still 'abnormal' to be gay'.

‘I live in a world where there is the big and there is the small’

'I live in a world where there are the short and there are the tall,'

‘I live in a world where there is the dumb and there is the bright’

‘I live in a world where this is the black and there is the white’

‘I live in a world where there are the have’s and there are the have-nots’

 ‘I live in a world where there are the workers and those who call the shots’

 ‘I live in a world where being abled and disabled is just a question of degree’

'I live in a world where there are the blind and there are those who are fortunate to see’

'I hope to live in a world where individuality is acknowledged and praised,'

 ' I hope to live in a world where differences and uniqueness and everyone’s good points are raised.'

 ' I hope to live in a world where ideas, thoughts and dreams are allowed to run free,

 ' I hope to live in a world that offers support for the ‘I’ the ‘You’ and the ‘We’,

'I hope to live in a world where ‘true colours are shown’ without repercussion or fears,'

 ' I hope to live in a world where human individuality causes laughter not tears'.

 ' I hope to live in a world where everyone understands that everyone is just ‘trying to get by’

'And your spiritual belief system, age, sex, colour or geography doesn’t determine if you live or you die'.

'I hope to live in a world where differences become uniqueness and are treated with joy and respect,'

 ' I hope to live in a world where people give to others more than they expect.'

 ' I hope to live in a world, with equanimity at its core, where each and everyone of us are key'.

 ' I hope to live in a world based on peace, kindness, love and compassion where everyone is free'.

Notes:

The understanding and acknowledgement that we are all different but fundamentally the same = The Spirit of Uniqueness

Appreciating we are fundamentally the same but exaggerating the differences = The Curse of Prejudice

Being ignorant of the fact we are fundamentally the same added to the thinking we are better than others = The Arrogance of the 'Ism'
