Aleksandra Skrlec's monthly-subscription Print Club.

I’m always searching for fresh, meaningful ways to bring art to life—whether that’s uncovering the stories behind each image, exploring the symbolism in the colours and composition, or looking at how artists connect with people in their everyday lives. One of my favourite ways to see this connection in action is through monthly art subscriptions. I’ve personally signed up to several—some from artists I already feature and admire, and others from creators I’m just beginning to discover, along with the unique processes that shape their work.

I recently subscribed to Aleksandra Skrlec Print Club.

Aleksandra Skrlec is an established artist but new to me and I found her through her Instagram ( www.instagram.com/aleksandraskrlec/ ) account and her website - www.aleksandraskrlec.art which both show off her artistic skills and imagination through abstract artworks, floral creations and the underwater world.
She is a self-taught artist who grew up in Croatia and currently lives in Paris,

Aleksandra's thoughts on her Print Club:
'This project was born from a simple desire: to create a more personal connection with those who feel something when they look at my art.
I wanted to step away from screens for a moment, to give space back to paper, to slowness, to the quiet joy of surprise.
Each month, you’ll receive a small fragment of my world : an image, a letter, a whisper from Paris.
I want these letters to feel like confidences.
I’ll tell you about my life, my doubts, my dreams, a fleeting encounter, a painting in progress, or a simple moment that somehow brightens an entire day.'

Paul writes:

'Monthly art subscriptions offer a powerful, personal way for artists to stay connected with their community—both loyal supporters and brand-new admirers. Each month brings fresh, artwork paired with a handwritten-style letter that invites you into the artist’s world: her creative process, inspirations, dreams, and even the fears that shape her work.

Aleksandra is a recent discovery for me, her talent is undeniable, and I’m equally impressed by the authenticity and confidence with which she shares and promotes her art.
As I’ve been searching for abstract work to feature in the gallery, her pieces have felt like the perfect fit. They embody everything I believe abstract art should be: bold, vibrant colour palettes, striking compositions, and an immediate, irresistible visual appeal.

In this month's Print Circle edition, I received:
- A stunning signed open-edition print, 'Red flowers under a moving sky'—a luminous, abstract composition that captures movement, emotion, and colour in a way that feels both powerful and serene.
- A beautifully crafted, deeply personal letter from Alexandra herself, offering a rare glimpse into her inner world—her emotions, reflections, and creative journey—told with the same care and sensitivity that defines her art.
I look forward to watching her artistic evolution'
