'Speciesism, Fox-hunting and a much needed change of direction' By Paul Connor

'We are a nation of animal lovers, right, well that’s what they say,
We eat them and wear them and hunt them and use them for play,
Fox hunting is one such pastime, so lets delve a little into this folly'
And understand the motives, that make this murderous sport so appealing and jolly.'

'Group mentality and majority rule, plays a part, as it can be upwards of one against forty.
On one side an animal running for life, the other human animals arrogantly superior, disdainful and haughty.
Fancy dress attire worn as a badge of hierarchy, tradition and and air of pomposity.
The flaunting of a 'banning activity UK law' that shows a complete lack of moral integrity.'

'It’s a game played by the arrogant, cowardly and ostentatious, from what I can tell,
For them, it’s exhilarating, a sport and fun, for the fox it’s frightening, lonely and a living hell,
Imagine being chased by blood thirsty predators that outnumber you, their sole aim is to kill.
A good day for you is escape, injury and exhaustion and all against your will.'

'So, If a law, integrity, and knowledge of species does not end these actions of disdain,
What must it take for human beings to realise this discrimination against animals cannot maintain.
When are human beings going to end these inhumane practices and evolve into a species that care.
Recognising all animals as unique, intelligent and equal which is smart, compassionate and fair.'

'Human beings think that they are progressive and liberal, a thought obviously inflated,
When they continue to carry out acts that are clearly staid and outdated,
What places a society apart is how you treat the vulnerable or those that haven't the energy or tools to fight,
The only way is to stop doing what benefits you personally and to do what is right,

'So, If we are a nation of animal lovers, let’s start to act like it and see how high that compassionate revolution can reach,
And through positive inspiration, leadership and social obligation, create a legacy that to our children we can teach.
Stand up for the rights of all species, creating nurturing environments through, science, good practices and thought.
And base that goal on intelligence and integrity so that this successful and progressive formula can be taught.'
