So what did we do this week......? June 1st-6th 2025 - Leaflet drop and social media engagement.

Being a very small gallery and team requires a 'jack of all trades' approach to set up your business and then get your name to the general public.

To keep overheads to a minimum there are a number of methods to do this that are free:

  • Social Media - Instagram, Facebook and X are just a few of the free ways to engage the public with your business with a potential to reach 1000's of people. We spend many hours a week engaging with art lovers on our social media channels @connorcontemporary

  • LinkedIn - I would not class LinkedIn as social media per se as it is more suited to businesses, employees and employers.

Another way to engage with the public is with a leaflet drop, not free of course as the printing cost alone can be substantial, that said there are some good value printers that provide good quality promotional material. Leaflet drop is probably a little 'old school' as a method to promote your business but this week we are delivering 200 leaflets around the Ashford, Kent area. I enclose our leaflet.

We also place them in small businesses, local libraries and on notice boards.

If you would like to display our leaflets feel free to contact me at connorontemporary@gmail.com

Our June Newsletter has been sent out, if you would like a copy of this, you can subscribe at www.connorcontemporary.com or text me your email address on 07954180570

The newsletter has artist biographies and updates from the gallery.

'Art and artists bring beauty into a, sometimes, ugly world, highlight all aspects of the human experience, shine a light on dark topics and showcase the creative experience. Art can be be beautiful, thought-provoking, challenging, disturbing and awe-inspiring and has the ability to create positive societal change.

Support art and artists!!
